Hand Stitched Goodies

I've been painting and stitching away lately. Up first is a sweet original painting I stitched into an ornie. I love how she turned out.

Here are some pins I painted and stitched up as well. A panda (my favorite), a black kitty cat and a blue owl. I had super fun making these kindred cuties.
(All 3 Sold, Thanks!)

Here is the panda pin before she was packed and shipped away.

I also created some flower pins too. As you can see from the BEFORE and AFTER photos, their petals look quite different. I decided to change it up from canvas to felt instead. It happens every now and then. I liked them much better this way.

And last but not least is a portrait art quilt I created using a fabric print of my original painting.

She's still one of my favorite angel paintings! I just had to use her in this mini art quilt.

You can find these creations now in my etsy shop!

More original paintings & hand stitched goodies coming soon!

Lost in Thought

Here is my latest angel painting. I really enjoyed creating her. Getting lost in ones thoughts happens to us all. When I do, I find myself sitting similar to this angel.

Be Yourself.

Here is my latest mixed media painting. I had tons of fun creating her and took plenty of photos to share my work in progress. Enjoy!

I call this the zombie stage.

I like not knowing how a painting will turn out until the end. But I do tend to question when a piece is finally finished.

Sometimes though, you just know when it's done.

Enjoy the Journey

I believe we are all destined for something special. We might not know what it is or the direction we are heading but I shall enjoy the journey.
