Feeling Green with a little Hoot

Hello lovely bloggers! Thanks again so much for all your special comments! If I haven't yet already, I will be visiting your fabulous
blogs soon. Hope your October days have been beautiful so far.
It rained a bit this morning and I just loved it. I wanted to share a couple of new paintings with you all.

Here is a portrait painting I created.
Size: 6" X 8" on canvas board

This is one of the larger paintings I've been working on
and finished up the other day.

Size: 12" X 24" on stretched canvas

You can find both of these originals now on ebay. (both sold, thanks!)

Happy Sunday and Thanks so much for coming to visit!

Hugs,
Lisa :)

  9. Hi Lisa,

I love the look of the larger piece, especially the crackled background. You've really got that technique down. It's funny because I teach how to do that in one of my classes, but before people even sign up, they're asking me how difficult it is. I resist the urge to go overboard on how hard it is and I hope they're willing to commit to extra time to complete it.....when it's really not that hard at all.....LOL As I said, I resist the urge (wink wink). Thank you so much for sharing your work with us, I really appreciate it as I'm always studying other's techniques, especially since I'm such a bad painter. I can copy anything, though, so once I see it, I can figure it out and do it. I know, not very original. Have a great week.

    Hugs,
    Meri
