Moonlight Mermaids

These sexy little mermaids are original paintings created by my hubby. We sketch & paint together all the time. He is truly a big inspiration in my heart & soul. His style surely varies from mine but through this common passion our imaginations constantly soar!

Ella

Deep, deep down in the dark blue sea lives a beautiful mermaid named Ella. A rather curious mermaid with a sweet gentle spirit about her. She always seems to be engaged in some kind of daydream. Though her reality is fully blessed, her enchanted imagination longs for something different.

Little Mermaids

These are two little mermaid collage paintings on canvas. I used decorative papers, inks, pastels, stamps, sequins, watercolor, metallic, & acrylic paints. They have been finished up with a coating of beeswax.

Under the Sea

This is an 11" X 14" canvas collage painting. A mixed media piece using collage papers, oil pastels, metallic, & acrylic paints. A coating of beeswax was used to create a textured dreamy effect & a unique protective finish.

My 1st Blog Ever! Happy 2008!

If there ever was a day for me to begin a blog, today would be that day. Fresh off the 2008 resolution list...CHECK! Thought I would share my first commission piece of the year. Mother & daughter mermaids. The paint is dry & ready to ship! I hope to continue the year with more blogs, to meet tons of fellow artists & friends, to inspire & to be inspired! To be more ME!
