She's incredibly beautiful. What a treasure! What product did you use to create the crackle? I fancy buying myself some but would be keen to get a recommendation on the best brand.
She's beautiful, but then all of your creations are. I love the plaque mounted on there with the "Beauty comes from within." I wish we lived closer together so that I might take some painting lessons from you. I need to improve my blending and shadowing. Have a great weekend!
Lisa- loving the use of that vibrant green- it just makes me feel good to look at it. How on earth can you list this last peice starting at .99$? That seems criminally low! I don't do e-bay but it makes me want to figure out how to so I can go bid it up! Anyhow, as always, love to come see your lovely work!
Hi Sweet Lisa! She is just beautiful!...Gosh, her face is sooo perfectly gorgeous!...Beauty does come from within, Lisa, and you've got plenty of it, both inside and out! xoxo's Paulette :):):)
Lisa aka WrightStuff- There are so many crackling techniques and mediums out there. The brands Folk Art and Deco Art are great to use. Also, the faux crackle using acrylic paint over Elmers glue is a cheap and favorite. Have fun!
Cathy- I started out painting on smaller pieces, like ACEO sizes. Continuous practice on smaller canvases helped me alot. You can do it too! Have fun!
Ooh, thanks, I was wondering about your crackle. I used to do faux finishes, but your crackle is amaZING so I was wondering what you used.
Anyway, another gorgeous painting! I love her expression..she looks so peaceful and dreamy! And your colors always just amaze me. I was just thinking...would you ever do just a landscape? I could see a cool gnarly tree with tons of texture maybe under a crackled night sky with stars and the moon? For some reason this just popped in my head as I was writing, so I thought I would share it. : )
Esther- Thanks so much for your sweet words! I am happy to share whatever I can. It's been awhile since I created a landscape. You have inspired me to try one again soon. Here are a couple of links I thought of when you described your sweet vision.
Wow Lisa, i'm not sure how i've missed so much of your work lately but gosh did i miss something. Love the peice below with the little Owl. Just amazing as always :)
It truly does, Lisa. I couldn't agree more. This painting is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it. Theresa
