Bitten

Over a year ago now, I was bitten by the Twilight Saga. I had read the books only after watching "Twilight" in the theater. I became instantly captured by the love story written by Stephenie Meyer.

I absolutely fell in love with Edward and Bella's story. The hubby surely knew this as well and he surprised me with a couple of the audiobooks last Christmas. Listening to the books this way made their story even more special for me. I sketched Edward on canvas around the same time last year and decided to paint him up just last night in honor of the movie "New Moon" coming out today. I made sure to paint him while I listened to "New Moon" on audiobook to help inspire me even more. You can tell from the photo above that I initially had other plans for how his hair should be.

As for now, Edward is still a work in progress. I also still plan to paint Bella as soon as possible too. You can tell from the photo below that Edward yearns for Bella to complete him as well.

Have a wonderful weekend! :)

  6. What a lovely painting!! I LOVE how you've captured his eyes!! It's funny how so many people are caught up in the Twilight frenzy all over the world at the moment. I saw New Moon the other night and quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing your Bella and hopefully you'll do a Jacob too? :0)
