You are Loved
Sometimes I find myself torn between crafts, especially when it comes to stitching and painting. They are my two favorites afterall. That's why I like to incorporate them both whenever possible. Combining both artsy worlds at the same time makes me a happy crafter. And also it helps relieve my creative fix that I need to feed every now and then.
8" X 10" on canvas board
Created using oil pastels & acrylics. Textured, sanded, & distressed for a prim appearance.

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. Love your faces.
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for your touching comments! I really appreciate it! :)
ReplyDeleteYour eyes ALWAYS amaze me they are so heart felt! love them! And the ladies are always soooo beautiful. It is funn how you were talking about torn between two genres. Mine is painting and scuplting. Although I do lost of others I always find it hard to choose between the two. When I am doing one I feel guilty becuase I didn't do the other. I hope to get out of that feeling it is so rediculous HAHA. Right now it is easy becuase I don't have any matte board to canvas so sculpting it will be!
ReplyDeleteTalk to you soon!

Thanks so much Steph! I knew there were others that felt the same. There is still so many crafty things I want to try. It really is a funny thing to go through. I can be painting for a while and all I can think about is my next stitching project. It's keeping up with ideas that does it for me. Also, I'm the same way when it comes to canvas, if I'm all out, then stitching it is!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lisa :)
