Hello blogland! I can't believe it's been awhile since I've
made a post. I'd like to thank you all for the wonderful
Blog Love I've been receiving. A big *W*E*L*C*O*M*E*
to all my new Kindred Spirits! I really appreciate everyone
who chooses to follow me on my creative journey. It means so
much! :)
As you may already know, I've been riding on the exciting
magic carpet for One World One Heart 2010. I have so many
super comments from such lovely OWOH passengers that I have
yet to visit. Please bear with me and know that each message
you send my way means the world. I'm #206 on the fabulous
list. We've already surpassed the 911 participants from last
year and it's still growing. It's not too late to join either,
you have until Feb. 8th to get in on the fun.
Meet Cupid!
She is the first canvas painting I've done for the new year.
Cupid was created using mixed media. If you are interested
in finding more info on her, as well as seeing more photos,
you are welcome to see her up for sale here.
I've been a busy bee with a customized stitching project
as well as a large painting commission that is far from
complete. I hope to share more soon. Thanks again for all
your sweet visits!
Creative Blessings,
Lisa :)
Lisa, your little cupid is fabulous! Love her, love the treatment you did on the canvas (I like anything that is textured).
ReplyDeleteSo glad I found you on OWOH!

Hi Lisa,This cupid is simply fabulous.. I adore the texture of the bottom rose color and that luminous aspect that he has.. a detail that he also called me a lot the attention was the feet.. angel's feet.. it believes there is a long time that I didn't see such delicate angels' feet... a sweetness.!

I'm happy to hear that you've been so busy with your painting and stitching. And I like how your cupid appears to be suspended in mid-air. Her bare feet is also a very nice touch and lends a relaxed feel.
