Holiday celebrations! The New Year is almost here
with new resolutions to keep. I can't believe 2010 is
just around the corner. I wanted to *T*H*A*N*K* *Y*O*U*
all so much for supporting me with my creative journey!
I really appreciate all the response and love you have
kindly given me. 2009 has flown by so fast and your
creative friendships have made the year so much more
special! Thank you!
My #1 Kindred Cutie, Paulette aka Beedeebabee of http://beedeebabee.blogspot.com/ surprised me with these heartwarming treats for
Christmas! Santa/Paulette sent me over a big tin box
full of delicious chocolate cookies! Super Yummy! And I
don't know how she knew I've been wanting one, but she
also gave me a fabulous journal hand crafted by the
talented artist Lori of http://elviestudio.blogspot.com/.
I guess Santa always knows what you want. I can't
wait to use it! :) And I also received a magical one
of a kind ornament with Paulette's adorable hand stitched
bunny on it. I've been admiring her signature bunnies for
awhile now. The ornament detail is amazing! Delicately
embellished and stitched to perfection! SOOOO Adorable!
I love all my goodies, Paulette! You are just the sweetest
ever! Thanks so so so much!
Here's a slideshow of my sweet treats from Paulette and my little Santa Pup aka Paris too!

Thank you so much again Paulette! I feel I can't thank you enough! I will treasure your gifts always!
Big Kindred HUGS!!!

Special thanks also to Jodi of http://www.thecreativejar.com for featuring me on her wonderful blog!
Wishing everyone a Magical New Year's Celebration!
See you all in 2010! The start of a new year for so
many new creative adventures! Yippee! :)

I always smile with happy thoughts
A time for decorating the Christmas
A time for watching all the Christmas
A time to visit Santa at the mall.
A time for hot chocolate next to
A time for giving.
The world she knows is half unseen.
The purple skies make her feel the opposite of blue.
Her window is now wide open.
The direction she seeks is right before her.
The dream becomes reality.
The journey of endless possibilities await.

Also, Thank you Janine of
Over a year ago now, I was bitten by the Twilight Saga. I had read the books only after watching "Twilight" in the theater. I became instantly captured by the love story written by Stephenie Meyer.
I absolutely fell in love with Edward and Bella's story. The hubby surely knew this as well and he surprised me with a couple of the audiobooks last Christmas. Listening to the books this way made their story even more special for me. I sketched Edward on canvas around the same time last year and decided to paint him up just last night in honor of the movie "New Moon" coming out today. I made sure to paint him while I listened to "New Moon" on audiobook to help inspire me even more. You can tell from the photo above that I initially had other plans for how his hair should be.
As for now, Edward is still a work in progress. I also still plan to paint Bella as soon as possible too. You can tell from the photo below that Edward yearns for Bella to complete him as well.
Have a wonderful weekend! :)
Here is my new series collection, "Kindred Cuties". Inspired for my love of "Anne of Green Gables" by L.M. Montgomery and also richly inspired by all the magical friendships I have made here in blogland. You are all "Kindred Cuties" in my book. Thanks so much for blessing me with your friendships and following me on this creative journey!
