This painting was inspired and created for my
Because We Believe-Art (BWBA) Group Challenge on ebay. In honor of Valentine's, the theme for January is "Heart of Darkness".
Size: 8" X 10" painting on canvas board within 11.25" X 13.5" ornate frame
Created using decorative paper, acrylic, & metallic paints.
A coating of beeswax was added for a nice dreamy texture.
I fell in love with this painting even more when I placed it into this frame.
I just had to decorate her hair!
I used an embroidered butterfly applique.
A perfect fit! Can I keep you?
Little hearts dangle from the black vines above.
Love is in the air! I can feel it!
Hugs,
Lisa :)
Lisa, this is an excellent painting, I love it. You have quite a bit of talent. By the way, what do you melt your beeswax in, if you don't mind my asking. I just bought some and plan on using. Just not quite sure how to melt it. Take care.
