Halloween Party 2012
Annabel Lee
It was many and many a year ago,In a kingdom by the sea,That a maiden there lived whom you may knowBy the name of ANNABEL LEE;And this maiden she lived with no other thoughtThan to love and be loved by me.
I was a child and she was a child,In this kingdom by the sea;But we loved with a love that was more than love-I and my Annabel Lee;With a love that the winged seraphs of heavenCoveted her and me.
And this was the reason that, long ago,In this kingdom by the sea,A wind blew out of a cloud, chillingMy beautiful Annabel Lee;So that her highborn kinsman cameAnd bore her away from me,To shut her up in a sepulchreIn this kingdom by the sea.
The angels, not half so happy in heaven,Went envying her and me-Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,In this kingdom by the sea)That the wind came out of the cloud by night,Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the loveOf those who were older than we-Of many far wiser than we-And neither the angels in heaven above,Nor the demons down under the sea,Can ever dissever my soul from the soulOf the beautiful Annabel Lee.
For the moon never beams without bringing me dreamsOf the beautiful Annabel Lee;And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyesOf the beautiful Annabel Lee;And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the sideOf my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,In the sepulchre there by the sea,In her tomb by the sounding sea.Edgar Allan PoeThis poem always makes me tear when I read it. I just can't help it.Reference Links:Here is my Masquerade Muse Ornie!Leave a comment on this post to enter!Good Luck!

She will make a difference
Here's my latest mixed media portrait created on a 5" X 7" canvas.
I love the way she turned out. Full of touchable texture.
I added a few fabric flowers and a paper leaf. The flowers are centered with some brads.
I also stitched some sequins down around them with french knots.
Hope you like her!
You can find her in my shop!
Thanks for visiting! :)

Under the Sea
Here fishy, fishy!
I couldn't resist making a mermaid painting again. I haven't created one in so long.
This sweet little mermaid is playing and swimming about with her friends.
You can find her in my shop.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! :)

Faith
Hello everyone! Here is my latest angel painting. You can find her in my shop.
She was created on a 6" X 6" stretched canvas.
My work in progress photo shows a few shots of how I painted her up and it also shows
what I stamped and stitched together. The banner was created using canvas and felt.
For those kindred souls...
Have faith & believe in yourself.

Happy October!
(Sold, thanks!)
Hello My Pretties! I can't believe it is already October. How did that happen? Here is a witch pin I created using an altered image. I gave her a light acrylic wash in green for her skin color, of course. Also, a little jingle bell dangles at the bottom. Below is the witch cottage pincushion I created a while back. Both of these creations are now in my shop! :)
