City Girl

Hello my kindred cuties! I wanted to share a commission piece I've been working on. This painting is my "City Girl". The city portrayed is no particular place in general, just from my imagination. This piece is actually far from completion. Since this is a commission piece, I'll still have more personalizing to do on it. Surprisingly, it's a rather larger piece than the norm I usually work with.

It's painted on a 16 x 20 stretched canvas. I know, huge for me, right? Well, let's hope I continue to remedy that this year. I really have enjoyed myself so far. I always get lost in my imagination when I work on a piece this big. It's never a bad thing though. :)

Etsy Shop Update

Hello everyone! I've added some new paintings in my etsy shop.

Thank you for your sweet inquiries! I hope to add prints of my newer and older artworks again in my shop soon. I also still plan to list my art again on ebay. Considering that was where I began selling my art, I doubt I'll ever stop listing there. :)

Embrace Life

Since I was MIA from my blog last year I wanted to share a painting I created for my dear sister-in-law last November for her b-day. I still can't believe I only created 5 blog posts total...how sad. I'm making up for it now, two posts in one week. Yippeee! You GO girl! Hopefully, I'll keep it up! The title of this post as well as the title of the painting is what I'll continue to do this year. I hope you will too!

Created using acrylic paint, stamps & collage papers

I hand stitched fabric flowers and beads directly onto canvas.

I stamped on a strip of canvas and attached it using tiny brads.

Happy 2012! 4th Year BloGIVErsary!!!

Hello to all you lovely bloggers! Wishing you a very Happy 2012! I know it's been forever since I posted on my blog, so here I am again...and I hope to stick with it this year. I feel like I've missed so much since being away from blogland. I can't wait to visit all my fellow lovelies out there and play catch-up.

Yay! Happy 4th Year Blogoversary to me! I can't believe it's been already 4 years. A happy celebration indeed my lovelies! What we have here is an original hand painted and hand stitched art quilt created by me! The size is 2.5" x 3.5" and 100% made with love!
